Photos of RIM’s BB 10 Alpha Developer smartphone surface


Yes, this is the first official BlackBerry 10 smartphone that RIM will hand over to developers at next week’s BlackBerry World. Mind you, this is just an alpha device to give developers a taste of what to expect from the new OS, which is scheduled to be launched later this year. The device, however, won’t make it to a commercial launch or so we are told.
Posted by a CrackBerry Forum member, the device bears resemblance to the build quality of the PlayBook. BB 10 is based on the QNX platform on which the PlayBook runs. RIM has bet its farm on BB 10, which it believes will help its devices compete with iOS and Android. Hit the source link below for a couple of more shots
